COVID 19 IMPORTANT NOTICE

Further to the governments annoucement to take fffect from 19th July 2021, we are working and contactable as normal on 01933 663311 and via e-mail if you have any queries whatsoever, although our office will still only be allowing limited access to the public.

We have taken advice from professional bodies and formulated procedures to enable us to ensure our staff are safe in our office and when working outside it, so that we can conduct viewings and market appraisal appointments where necessary.

Our office may only be visited in person to drop off documents, keys etc or for short duration conversations from our segregated reception area to allow staff members to continue to work in the suitably effective and protected environment we have created

Outlined below are the procedures that will be adopted for appointments away from the office. Whilst these are not mandatory in law, we would ask that they are adhered to as a courtesy to our staff, clients and other memebers of the publci with whom we may deal. These may be subject to change, but set out what we should all expect of the new 'normal' for the foreseeable future.

Viewings:

All parties will confirm that they nor any members of their households have or are exhibiting any signs of COVID-19, are not 'shielding' and have read these guidelines.

Maximum of two people from the same household per viewing unless otherwise agreed in advance. Viewers must include the buyer and not representaives of. No children at initial viewings please.

PPE must be worn during viewings at all times by both our staff and those parties viewing. This must face coverings. We will not be able to supply this at all appointments so the expectation is that viewers will supply their own.

Social distancing measures must remain in place and will be strictly enforced by staff members.

Viewers will remain in their vehicles and only enter the property when invited to do so and under instruction of the member of staff.

Viewings will be time limited to minimise risk to all parties (this includes ‘empty’ properties) and any further discussions held outside.

Sellers will have taken appropriate measures to ensure the property is suitably sanitised.

Sellers will prepare the property to reduce the need for any contact (all doors to be open etc). Viewers will be asked to respect this by avoiding contact with items in the property such as door handles unless strictly necessary and only by agreement with the staff memeber.

Sellers will be asked to vacate the property during a viewing.

Market Appraisals:

All parties will confirm that they nor any members of their households have or are exhibiting any signs of COVID-19, are not 'shielding' and have read these guidelines.

PPE must be worn during viewings at all times by both our staff and the homeowner or representative of. This must involve face coverings.

Alternatively the property may be left open for the staff member to enter and the homeowner remain outside.

Social distancing measures must remain in place.

Staff members will only enter the property when invited to do so by the homeowner and that they are satisfied these guidleines have been adhered to.

Appointments in the property will be restricted to as short a time as possible, to minimise risk to all parties (this includes ‘empty’ properties). Subsequent conversations can take place outside or by telephone afterwards as agreed.

Homeowners will have taken appropriate measures to ensure the property is suitably sanitised.

Homeowners will prepare the property to reduce the need for any contact (all doors to be open etc) and staff members will respect this by avoiding contact with items in the property such as door handles unless strictly necessary and by agreement.

Informal 'virtual' appraisals can be given if required. Please telephone the office to discuss this if you feel it would be more appropriate.

Thank you for your understanding.
